Start of Fall

On Tuesday I walk to the grocery store for some supplies and then start in on homework. I finish up the assignments for the week for one class and even start in on next week's assignments. Takign a break, I get in a good heavy session with the weights and then do some bush trimming and ground brush cleanup in the backyard. It feels good to get in the workout and to sweat away and make the backyard look a bit cleaner. After a shower I do the software exercises for the mapping class and save the results to look over once tomorrow before submitting them. Later in the afternoon I work on some Javascript for a website and watch a fascinating Moto2 race. And I even watch a couple hours of a long serial documentary on PBS about the Vietnam war.

I start Wednesday with some homework for classes. At mid morning I go work the abdominals and lower back again. I keep plugging away at homework and websites and some other fun little projects.

On Thursday the morning is a bit foggy (and I'm feeling a bit lazy), so I get up and do some more homework, go grocery shopping, but some new running shoes, and get in a good session with the weights. After a cooling shower I keep moving along on homework for my classes, work for CSULA, and other website work.

I start Friday with a good 48 mile road bicycle ride. Halfway through the ride my small bag that hangs behind the seat breaks one strap and is now dangling away for the rest of the ride. This is the Cannondale bag that I must have bought 15 years ago - about 12 years before I owned a Cannondale bicycle. But it's a good ride. After getting cleaned up I ride the motorcycle to CSULA and share cookies with various teams and we try to focus on a presentation that is coming up in two weeks. When I get home I relax and grab some veegtables and quinoa and trim the roses and relax more. Person T_U has mentioned something about going out tonight, so I relax and try to keep some energy for this endeavor. But Person T_U is tired and so we don't go out.

Saturday through Monday is a blur. I know there are bicycle rides and weight lifting sessions and walks and homework and the Malaysian F1 race. And on Monday I spend a majority of the day, outside of a workout and a long walk, re-coding a website that someone else did in a different language. I add enhancements and try to push the ball forward to where people want it to be.
