On Tuesday I just cannot get out of bed. I wanted to go run before work, but I keep re-setting the alarm. I don't get out of bed until after 7 am. During work I head over for testing at Pico Rivera and the testing does not go well. At 6:30 pm I tell the group that I need to leave for a 7:30 meeting. "A 7:30 meeting?', they ask - obviously thinking it's a Northrop Grumman work meeting. I do not correct them and head off to the ResourceScout meeting. We have a relatively short meeting when Ruby tells me how tired I look.
On Wednesday I get out for a walk before work. And after being at work for a while I head back to Pico Rivera for more testing. The testing does not go smoothly at all but we keep pushing and finally get the testing of the first article done at 7:30 pm. I head on home and relax with Person C_T for about an hour until I tell him that I need sleep.
Thursday is a non-productive day at Northrop Grumman as I am tired and cannot concentrate. I think that with the execssive tiredness, the listlessness, the restlessness, and the blood, I probably need to see my doctor soon.
At 1pm on Thursday I get a call saying that they have had a failure during testing and that I need to look at the data and the failed part. So now I'm cancelling my afternoon meetings and heading over to South El Monte to see what kind of trouble we have. When I get there we look at the data and find a good data trail of what happened and how the piece failed. I perform a quick hand calculation to see if the "disappearing mode" is at about the right frequency and I'm shocked and my colleagues are shocked when I calculate the expected frequency to within 1% of the measured (and disappearing) frequency. I start laughing out loud and say, "It usually doesn't work out that nicely."
After providing my inputs for a course of action to fix the problem, I head home and get in a sessuion with the weigths. It is a real struggle today. (I need to make that appointment with the doctor.) After mowing the lawn I almost think about dinner, but cannot bring myself to it. And note a bit more blood where it shouldn't be.
